This weird record happened in january 2009, right after my infamous car crash accident, i wasn’t in the best spirit condition at that time, jobless and unable to buy even a simple computer to go on with the music. To get thru those suffering times, my friends borrowed me an Xbox 360 (to play games and watch dvds ofcourse) and Yamaha PSR-75 keyboard which was used to create this album. So this is PSR-75 straight to cassette record, the result is something between dungeon synth and lost 80’s horror b-movie soundtrack.

Tape was digitised using a decent Roadstar japanese cassette deck into Motu Ultralite mk3 Hybrid captured at 24bit/96khz, cleaned up a little bit to get rid of some hiss (i love hiss, but here it was too much!) and clicks-n-pops here and there. No additional fx were applied, just pure tone of digital cheap rompler straight to tape.

And as a bonus track there is a drum sample library of PSR-75. It's a singular 16bit 44khz wav file which you can use in your sampler of choice, be it Ableton Live, Logic's EXS or any other software or hardware sampler.

Turn off the lights, burn some candles, put your costume of choice on and enjoy this freaky record on Halloween.
